Warranty Service

Many beginning technicians think it would be good to be able to offer warranty service, however, who really wants to work for free? Sewing machine warranties run from 9 months to 5 years with various limitations and stipulations. Part of the dealer contract for the right to sell the machines; you must agree to provide free warranty service. When a machine needs warranty service, the authorized dealer is required to service and repair the machine for free. Each company handles it differently, but generally they supply the parts and the dealer does the work for free.
