Belt Adjustment

How do you set belts? Whether it is the power drive belt or a timing belt, the rule remains the same. Measure the width of the belt side to side. Whatever the width measures, the belt must have an equal amount of flex. Press on the outside of the belt. It should move in the same distance as the width. Too tight causes binding. Too lose causes slippage.
